Job description
Polaris Business Advisors is looking for a
Portfolio Accountant / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team.

This specialist will be responsible for the below:

  • Manage Portfolio of existing clients alongside Managing Partner and Director of Client Relations
  • Correspond with Attorneys and Financial Advisors to ensure timely payment (ACH or Wire) of settlements.
  • Review and interpret commercial loan settlement agreements and attorney correspondence for key settlement terms. Using this data, to accurately set up billing information including terms, payments and fees.
  • Responsible for generating and posting charges, as well as posting and tracking all payments made.
  • Audit commercial accounts as needed.
  • Compose and send written correspondence, invoices, commencement letters, termination letters, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Respond to client inquiries, research and investigate client billing issues/problems, assist with arrears collections.
  • Help with commercial budgeting and forecasting.
  • Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in banking or accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, accountability, and responsibility, coupled with high organizational skills; capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude; selfmotivated and proactive, showing initiative without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at managing multiple inquiries with timesensitive deadlines; possesses excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Pay:
$70, $75,000.00 per year
