It is led by Operations Managers who bring the team together to promote excellent safety, quality, and productivity at all of our locations.

As an Operations Manager, you will coordinate with other managers at your site and create an operational plan to help your teams achieve their goals.

This role is focused on supporting operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.


Key job responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a team of Area Managers
  • Managing shifts for operational teams, handling issues, and promoting site performance
  • Analyzing shifts according to company guidelines and implementing measures to improve our operational excellence
  • Working closely with other support teams, including HR, finance, occupational health, and safety
  • Designing and implementing initiatives at all locations to improve operational performance

A day in the life:
You will oversee the shift at one of our operational sites. You will also act as the main interface between various teams, including finance, security, and operational integration. This means closely monitoring daily operations at your site while also contributing to new innovation opportunities.

A typical day includes meetings with different business areas, conducting in-depth investigations of performance and risk metrics for sites, and forecasting to prepare for varying demand volumes.

You will also provide daily mentoring and coaching to your team. As a leader, you will support your team members in fully realizing their management potential
