ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming customer owned parts in accordance with Manufacturers Engine Manuals, purchase order / repair ticket and and prepare O/R Teardown. Review traveler sheets for inclusion of all required signoffs, dates, stamps, etc.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of inprocess customer owned parts in accordance with Manufacturers Engine Manuals. Review traveler(s) and customer approved Teardown sheets for inclusion of all required signoffs, dates, stamps, etc.
- Perform visual and dimensional final inspection of customer owned parts in accordance with Manufacturers Engine Manuals, and customer approved Teardown sheets. Review traveler(s) for inclusion of all required signoffs, dates, stamps, etc.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of all Supplier details in accordance with Manufacturers Engine manuals, operation sheets and FAA/ Customer approved repair procedures.
- Assemble and check all gaging required for production use.
- Maintain inspection stamp in accordance with documented quality procedures
- Review and approval of purchase orders related to shippable product.
- Maintain neat, accurate quality records and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent;
- Able to read and understand all relevant technical data such as Operation Sheets, Travelers, Manufacturers Engine Manuals / related publications and EASA/FAA requirements/regulations.
- This individual must also have the knowledge to operate all pertinent computer software, tools, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, technical and organizational skills are required.
Preferred Skills
Prior aerospace inspection is preferred; use of borescope, cmm, and other measurement tools is helpful Physical Requirements
Other Job Functions
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
