    Have you been looking for a hands-on HR role that will give you experience with many different aspects of HR at a stable organization with strong values?

    We are looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and provide support to our Indianapolis, Greenfield, and Mitchell locations.

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative HR support to one or more Foamcraft plants. Primary responsibilities are recruitment, onboarding, and timekeeping with other general HR responsibilities based upon need. This position reports directly to HR leadership, and indirectly to the Plant Manager(s) at assigned plant locations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment

    • In collaboration with the plant and HR Leadership, serves as the primary point of contact for onsite recruitment needs with the goal of attracting top talent
    • Posts, sources, and screens applicants, utilizing the applicant tracking system
    • Schedules interviews with plant leadership and shepherds candidates through the recruitment and hiring process

    Onboarding

    • Ensures timely completion of required new hire documentation, to include background check processing and electronic onboarding
    • Works with plant leadership to create an experience focused on new hire retention and success

    Timekeeping

    • Supports plant in review of timecards, processing of vacation requests, punch change requests, and general timekeeping and HRIS needs
    • Addresses questions, and collaborates with the HR Generalist to escalate if needed

    General Support

    • Notifies employees of initial and life change benefits eligibility, providing education and enrollment support as needed
    • Partners with HR Leadership to provide initial FMLA forms when needed
    • Serves as a front-line resource for basic employee relations needs. Understands when to communicate and escalate possible issues.
    • Assists plant leadership with the plant safety committee

    Engagement and Retention

    • Participates in special projects and initiatives and provides general support to leaders as needed to increase overall engagement and retention across the organization
    • Creatively contributes to a spirit of building morale and engagement across the organization

    Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and prior HR experience with an emphasis on recruitment. A minimum of one year of progressively responsible human resources experience is required. Must display a high degree of discretion and independent judgement with confidential matters and information. Must have a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and an ability to manage time and changing priorities with ease. A qualified candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate, relate, and interact with individuals across the organization, both in person and through remote interactions. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
