Leasing Floater for Cross Country Manor and Brook View Apartments - Baltimore, Md.


Role Overview


As a Leasing Floater for Cross Country Manor _and_ Brook View Apartments, your primary focus is to lease apartments in a very competitive market.

In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents.

Because you will be working with two teams but one Senior Community Manager, strong and clear communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.


Most Important Responsibilities

  • Have a hunter's mentality. Prepare endlessly and wade through contacts and leads to put yourself in a position to lease as many apartments as possible.
  • The discipline to follow up. Consistent followups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
  • Be politely persistent. Don't take no for an answer.
  • Product knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value.
  • Collaborate with your team. Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solution.
  • Strong performance of general and specific administrative office skills including but not limited to management of resident's files and online account, lease compliance, move in, move out and renewal paperwork.

Most Important Qualifications

  • Leasing experience preferred. Solid track record in a busy office.
  • Ability to multitask with a high level or organizational skills.
  • Creativity to conceptualize and conduct resident events on a regular basis.
  • Selfmotivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
  • Resilience and tenacity. Rejection is a very real part of the job, however you can't get discouraged.
  • People skills. Ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs, so you can build rapport and trust.
  • Charisma. Must be likeable to prospects and residents.
  • Empathy. Relating to the customers and supporting them.
  • Confidence. Never let go of opportunities and stay positive.
$21.00/hr + monthly leasing commissions and lease renewal bonus.
