Description

The Caregiver Connections Supervisor is responsible for supervision of program staff and oversight of the Caregiver Connections Program. Responsible for report writing for all stakeholders, as applicable. Oversees the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants in active collaboration with local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies, and other partners in the DHS CCR&R system.


Summary:
Salary/exempt, compensation based on experience, education, and certification. Position based in Normal, IL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE CAREGIVER CONNECTIONS SUPERVISOR:


  • Administrative Supervision of Staff: Responsible for assigned staff, including employment, training, supervision, support, and performance feedback, including timely completion of performance evaluations. Ensures that agency standards are met for the delivery of services to clients.

Reflective Supervision of Staff: Provides clinical consultation to staff inside and outside the agency, as appropriate. With assistance from the Program Director and VP of Clinical Operations, as applicable, ensures that sound clinical decisions are made in the provision of services.

Program Supervision:


  • Oversees the processes of referral, intake, acceptance, service delivery, and discharge related to assigned program.
  • Assists the Program Director with the design, implementation, evaluation, and modification of programming/services.
  • Serves as first point of contact/liaison for referral and funding sources; maintains professional, positive collegial relationship with all funding sources, including governing bodies, grant funders, individual donors, and oversight committees.
  • Coordinates with other agency programs and external resources as appropriate to continue to improve statewide service delivery in the support of 05 school and daycare settings.
  • Maintains regular contact with the Child Care Resource and Referral Networks (CCR&R) within each service delivery area.
  • Collaborates with Chaddock to ensure staff are meeting their contractual requirements for activities and training.

  • Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends and developments in field of responsibility.
  • Provides training to employees on topics related to field of knowledge, as needed.

Fiscal Management:Approves and monitors purchases for program as necessary. Ensures that program expenditures are within budget.

Report Writing and Record Keeping: Responsible for accurate and timely report writing and data entry for program oversight and grant requirements. Assures that site-based reporting and evaluation components are completed. Ensures compliance with agency statistical, fiscal, personnel, supervisory, and case record keeping standards for assigned staff and program area(s).

Community Liaison: Represents the agency in a positive light to active and potential clients, referral and funding sources, and the public. Utilizes community contacts to advocate for clients and to promote child and family well-being. Demonstrates the ability to communicate and collaborate with children, families, professionals, and communities to establish supportive relationships.
