Description
This faculty position will be responsible for teaching within the Family Nurse Practitioner Concentration of the DNP program.The UTHSC embraces four missions:
education, research, clinical care, and institutional service. Responsibilities for this role include clinical practice assignment, in addition to educational responsibilities.
Teaching responsibilities include didactic coursework (online and in person) and clinical supervision of students in the FNP concentration and other programs, and courses as needed.
Earned doctoral degree from an accredited university required.
Certification/recertification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse and advanced practice nurse (e.g., FNP) in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee required.
Substantive expertise is required as a Family Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of recent clinical practice experience required.
