Universal Home Care in Beverly Hills, is looking for 5 LVN's to join our amazing shift care team.Locations:
Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, & North Hollywood.
Responsibilities:
- 48 hour shifts in home care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
- Conduct patient education and provide support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records using electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of posthospital care
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California
- LVN for 48 hour shifts in homecare
- At least one year's experience in GT care and feeding/med admin, trach care and oral/nasal suctioning, ventilator mgmt and monitoring, wound care, IV's, VS monitoring, BS monitoring, Foley catheters, basic homecare.
- Experience with Axxess a plus for charting
- Proficiency in conducting laboratory tests and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work well under pressure
