- System Installation: Lead the installation of security systems, including access control systems, CCTV cameras, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems, ensuring proper placement and functionality.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and inspections of security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This includes testing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and replacing defective components as needed.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems, including hardware and software problems, wiring issues, and connectivity issues.
- System Upgrades: Recommend and implement upgrades to security systems to enhance functionality, improve performance, and address emerging security threats.
- Integration: Coordinate the integration of security systems with other building systems, such as fire alarm systems and building automation systems, to create a comprehensive security infrastructure.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security system configurations, installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Compliance: Ensure that security system installations and operations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes, such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) codes and local building codes.
- Customer Communication: Interact with clients to understand their security needs, provide technical expertise and recommendations, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Training: Provide training to end-users and facility staff on how to use and maintain security systems effectively.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate security risks effectively.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security system alarms and alerts, coordinating with appropriate authorities and taking necessary actions to address security incidents.
- A base salary contingent with experience and value brought to the team, between $75k and $85K.
