Description

As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our trains leave the workshop safely and on time. We are currently looking for an electrician or mechatronics technician (m/f/d) to join our maintenance team at DB Fernverkehr AG in Frankfurt (Main) as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

You will perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on our trains according to applicable regulations
You are the specialist for the electronics in our trains and can independently find solutions to any malfunctions
You will handle your tasks independently and consider economic, operational, and occupational safety requirements
Documenting your work and results is also part of your responsibilities
You will contribute your ideas to the work area and help develop new repair solutions and improve quality
You will actively participate in our internal training programs for maintenance technicians and apply your newly acquired knowledge in practice

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a vocational training, for example as an electrician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician
You have a good understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical engineering, ideally in the industrial or automotive sector
You work independently, reliably, proactively, and as part of a team
You enjoy continuous learning and development, for example through training courses
