Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the Director of QualityManages laboratory resourcesUnderstands all GMP laboratory systems pertaining to analytical chemistryHosts auditors in GMP laboratoryEnsures laboratory staff receive training and follow GMP proceduresStrong microbiological knowledgeReviews and approves GMP dataResponsible for execution and on-time delivery of accurate analytical results for internal and external clientsGuides staff through scientific challengesConducts personnel reviewsAttends Management meetings as requestedEvaluates current compendia and makes corresponding changes in BTPs
Key Requirements:
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and provide feedback to grow and develop successful teamsAbility to create a highly collaborative and inclusive environment necessary for a team to be effectiveStrong interpersonal skills and understands the value of building relationships based on trustEffective use of hard and soft skills in all aspects of management including conflict resolution, team building, decision making, etc.
