    Job Description: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and machinery. You will be responsible for testing, monitoring, and optimizing machinery to ensure it operates safely, efficiently, and within established parameters. Additionally, you will lead the development of equipment specifications, performance KPIs, and operational procedures to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce planned downtime. You will also assist in troubleshooting machine breakdowns or faults and gather data to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Testing and Monitoring Machinery:

    • Conduct regular testing and monitoring of machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
    • Ensure machinery operates safely and within established operating parameters.

    Equipment Specification and Performance KPIs:

    • Lead the development of equipment specifications and performance KPIs.
    • Evaluate RFQs and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and site installations as needed.

    Develop performance criteria for vertical startups.

    • Procedures Development:
    • operational procedures to reduce planned downtime and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize operational procedures.

    Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

    • Assist in troubleshooting machines to resolve breakdowns or faults promptly.
    • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Gather data from manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Compile reports to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment (example: stick pack, pouch and gusset filers, jar fillers, encapsulation, tablet, blending and packaging equipment)
    • Experience in developing equipment specifications and performance KPIs.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery and resolving breakdowns.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
