Leadership responsibility in steel construction in Rosaryville, MD


Our client is a leading provider of economic, environmentally friendly, and modern steel structures, which have won numerous awards over the years.

The company employs approximately 120 employees who are known for their creativity, flexibility, quality consciousness, and adherence to deadlines. They successfully plan, manufacture, and install significant construction projects both nationally and internationally.

Their range of services includes projects in architecture, high-rise and hall construction, power plant and plant construction, sports facility construction, as well as transportation and bridge construction.

As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a technically and personally convincing individual for the company's headquarters, located between Aachen and Cologne.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and planning the entire installation process
  • Leading and developing internal installation personnel as well as external personnel (technically/disciplinary), with two construction managers reporting directly
  • Coordination with adjacent departments and customers
  • Preparation of preliminary cost estimates, monitoring of installation costs, and preparation of project billing for customers
  • Creation of risk assessments, operating instructions for construction site installations, and installation concepts
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Partial management of own construction sites and associated, manageable travel activities
  • The Head of Installation reports directly to a managing director

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed technical studies, alternatively a completed technical training and further education as a technician
  • Experience in a similar leadership role or from a "second line" position with ambitions
