As a Certified Sterile Processing Tech at our center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our surgical procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform sterilization and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.

Required Skills:


  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sterile processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection control protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
