Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk.

As a Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for answering telephone calls, accurately inputting and managing data in our databases and systems.


Duties:


  • Answer telephone calls transfer to correct personnel.
  • Greet and check in visitors.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information establishes entry priorities.
  • Process customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies resolves discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Enter new part numbers based on president's instructions.
  • Update data and delete unnecessary files.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Create routing instructions from notes on system after receiving sales order.
  • Write up sales order based on purchase order.
  • Store completed documents in designated locations.
  • Performs program support tasks such as organizes forms, photocopies, files, orders and maintains program materials and router handouts.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures reports needed changes.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs other work as required or assigned.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in data entry techniques and best practices
  • Basic math skills for performing calculations and verifying numerical data
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry
  • Ability to collect, organize, and maintain data in an orderly manner
  • Familiarity with transcribing information from various sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners, printers, and copiers
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
