- In the Safest Environment
- Providing care for patients in the maternal-fetal medicine clinic at BWH Main Campus and Foxboro in the Department of Ambulatory OBGYN.
- Triaging calls and patient gateway messages of Obstetrical patients.
- Working collaboratively with attending physicians, residents, fellows, physician assistants, social workers, and medical and practice assistants to meet the needs of our obstetric patients.
- Administration of IM, SC, and PO medications as ordered and per protocol.
- Interpretation and follow-up routine prenatal labs and genetic testing per protocol.
- Patient education.
- Maintaining flexibility in meeting the changing needs of clinic assignments and workflows.
- Must be a team player, multi-tasker, hardworking, reliable, trustworthy, empathetic, and embrace diversity.
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of recent (within 1 year) clinical nursing experience in OBGYN is required.
- Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring is required.
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients is required.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish fluency required.
- Clinical nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic/practice setting is preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is preferred.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
