    Description

    Our client is a full service, professional civil and environmental engineering firm that provides mining, oil and gas, geotechnical, structural design, survey, construction administration, and project management services for water supply and distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, stormwater systems and site development.

    We are seeking motivated CAD Technicians with experience in stormwater management design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will utilize their proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software to support the design and development of stormwater management systems for various civil engineering projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with project engineers and designers to develop detailed stormwater management plans and designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Assist in the preparation of site grading, drainage, and erosion control plans in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
    • Create accurate topographic surveys, profiles, and cross-sections to support the design process.
    • Generate construction drawings, details, and specifications for stormwater management infrastructure such as retention ponds, swales, culverts, and storm sewers.
    • Conduct quality checks on CAD drawings to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and best practices.
    • Coordinate with project team members to address design modifications, revisions, and client feedback in a timely manner.
    • Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and regulatory changes related to stormwater management design.

    Qualifications:

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • CAD Certificate with experience also accepted.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software with demonstrated experience in stormwater management design.
    • Familiarity with relevant design standards and regulations, such as EPA stormwater management guidelines and local ordinances.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on producing accurate and high-quality CAD drawings.
