We are seeking full time veterinary technicians to join our anesthesia team. Our techs have a passion for anesthesia and pain management.

They work closely with services to provide anesthesia to patients undergoing procedures and play a key role in training veterinary students and other veterinary technicians in the nursing skills specific for anesthesia.


  • What will I do?
  • Provide anesthesia to small animal patients undergoing procedures and deliver high quality patient care under the direction of an anesthesiologists.
  • Reviewing and interpreting a multitude of information to provide an evidence based approach to the care of the patient, continually monitoring patients to detect changes and intervene proactively to prevent complications.
  • Work closely with specialty services to ensure cases are being handled safely and efficiently.
  • Shape future veterinarians and technicians on veterinary care, specially anesthesia, through one on one training with our diverse student and staff population.
  • Participates in on call
Am I qualified?- Credentialed veterinary technician, preferred

  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience with anesthesia, preferred
What would my schedule be?

  • Our technicians start with a Monday-Friday 7:154:15pm, in order to attend rounds with our veterinary students
  • After training, the schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am5pm with a one hour lunch.

We are willing to train new veterinary technician graduates or credentialed techs who have a strong interest and want to grow in the field.

We have several anesthesia technicians included those that have earned their VTS that are there to support one.
Salary Range
Non-credentialed

Veterinary Technician:
$20-$28/hr, salary dependent on experience
Credentialed

Veterinary Technician:
$22-$30/hr, salary dependent on experience


Expected Salary:

Non-credentialed: $20-$28/hour; Credentialed: $22-$30/hour


Minimum Requirements:


Veterinary Technician I:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience

Veterinary Technician II:
Credentialed veterinary technician


Preferred Qualifications:

Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Experience providing anesthesia to patients
