    Description
    Overview

    Field Equipment Mechanic


    Location:
    Franklin Yard- Denver, CO


    Wage Range:
    $28-$35 per hour depending on experience


    Requirements:

    • Self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and little direction
    • Be on time to work as agreed upon
    • Must have heavy equipment experience on CAT, Volvo, Komatsu, Etc
    • Proficient with electrical and hydraulic schematics
    • Proficient with diagnosing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulics first time
    • Proficient with repairing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulic systems
    • Attention and commitment to safety
    • Understands crane operation and rigging for removing components
    • Maintains truck and crane inspections
    • Maintains service vehicle in good working order.
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather, rain and snow
    • Basic welding and oxy cutting skills
    • Must have own tools

    Competencies:

    • Able to lift heavy objects
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
    • Data entry, telephone, organizational and communication skills
    • Will travel if needed for short periods of time
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
