Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our TEAM as a Farm Hand.

As a Farm Hand, you will assist in various tasks related to animal care, assisting equine professionals and therapist, and maintaining the overall operations of the farm.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, TEAM Player, and a passion for horses and a human connection.

Duties:

• Perform general farm duties such as feeding and watering animals, cleaning animal enclosures, and maintaining their overall wellbeing
• Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery, including power tools and heavy equipment
• Assist with the maintenance of fences, buildings, and other structures on the farm
• Participate in the maintenance of gardens and landscaping around the farm
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual labor as required

Requirements:

• Must have a clean background check
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Must have reliable transportation
• Previous experience in animal husbandry and farm operations is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining farm equipment is desired
• Ability to handle animals safely and responsibly
• Have an open mind with the willingness to learn evidence based practices
• Proficiency in operating power tools and heavy equipment
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
