- Lead the execution of PurePower Electrical Buy projects for the Harness Team in various stages of the product life cycle.
- Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action with Suppliers for PurePower Entry into Service (EIS) and Field issues.
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
- Estimate costs, resources, and time required to complete projects to ensure business targets are met.
- Gather data to monitor projects' progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved.
- Prepare plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to ensure that established targets are met.
- Escalate project problems and develop recommendations for solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Responsible for project assignments with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
- Liaise between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
- Represent Collins as the primary customer contact for projects.
- Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical manufacturing and administrative areas.
- Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
- Meet program schedules and budgets and maintain the integrated master schedules for project(s).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here.
- Experience using strong planning and execution skills.
- Demonstrated experience multi-tasking, meeting challenging schedules, and delivering on budget.
- Experience working across a highly matrixed organization, including team members, suppliers, and customers.
- Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project experience.
