- Conduct etiologic research in their area of interest aligned to perinatal or reproductive epidemiology, as well as population health research, causal models, and causal inference in women's health.
- Devote efforts to the development and applications of innovative epidemiologic methods.
- Maintain an independent and successful research portfolio with adequate funding.
- Participate actively in teaching programs in this area.
- Facilitate departmental engagement in these areas with similar efforts within the medical school, the school of public health, and institutes and centers.

Minimum Education and Experience
The candidate must have completed, or soon to complete, doctoral training (Ph.
D., ScD, or DrPH) in epidemiology. Candidates with post-doctoral training preferred.
Preferred qualifications include individuals that have (or applied) for a funded career development award and have a strong record of scholarly achievement with an impressive publication record.
