Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for preparing and managing FAIR/LAIR preparation and documentation of quality requirements. This includes corresponding with our customers and our internal teams. Play a key role in our MRB Process, Root Cause and Corrective Action. Our company has been ISO9001/AS9100 certified for 21 years, you will be helping to maintain ISO 9001/AS 9100 requirements and certifications.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

College degree or equivalent in Industrial, Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Experience in mechanical inspection of aerospace quality parts.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, Knowledgeable of ISO 9001/AS 9100 requirements, working knowledge of GD&T is a must.
Speak, read, and write fluent English.
Familiar with ISO 9001/AS 9100 requirements and implementation.
Familiar with Quality Function Deployment and Voice of the Customer principals.
Must have a working knowledge & understanding of RCCA & Failure Analysis, be capable of teaching it.
A clear understanding of the following:
- Metrology and Measurement System Analysis.
- Quality tools: Six Sigma, DOE, Exploratory data Analysis, SPC, etc.
- Predictive and preventive maintenance tools.
- Reliability, safety, hazard, and risk assessment tools (FMEA, FTA).
Familiar with coordinate measuring machines.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be capable of assembling PowerPoint presentations, Charts and Graphs, to present internally or externally, with little to no help.
Excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing.

Key responsibilities:

Provide leadership and facilitate meetings to cultivate a lasting culture.
Document meeting results, and action items for each team. Track overall benefits.
Demonstrated results create significant cost and efficiency benefits for the company and improve teamwork.

Quality Control

Focal point for all Root Cause and Corrective Action training and methods.
Quality representative for key customers.
Assemble presentations to present to our customers.
Manage assembling all needed documentation for FAIR/LAIR process.
Review, respond and provide concrete corrective actions to all customer rejection notices.
Assist in Managing internal and external audits to verify conformance to job costing, POR process and quality procedure conformance.
Assist in documenting improvements to our Quality system.
Meet with and participate in our NPI groups twice weekly.

Balancing, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing are all considered regular physical duties/requirements and would be needed/required to work in this industrial environment safely and efficiently.
Lifting - employees must lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds.
