As a Property / Right of Way Officer (m/f/d) in Arapahoe, CO, you will be responsible for scheduling the acquisition of right of way from the start until the construction clearance is achieved in the designated section.

In this role, you will represent the right of way section in all functions in consultation with the right of way section management.


Responsibilities:

  • Approval of deviations from the contract standard and regulations for special topics (e.g. special compensation) in the designated section
  • Instruction of payments
  • Representation of right of way in project meetings of all kinds
  • Monitoring of the performance of the right of way office and initiation of corrective and adjustment measures where necessary
  • Initiation of tolerance, possession and expropriation procedures and submission to the authorities
  • Issuance of powers of attorney for right of way activities, cost planning for right of way acquisition, if necessary commissioning of special expert opinions from publicly appointed and sworn experts

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in law (m/f/d), business law (m/f/d), agricultural science (m/f/d), geoinformatics (m/f/d), urban or regional planning (m/f/d) or similar degree or training with relevant professional experience
  • Ideally, experience in the field of right of way, easements and/or compensation payments
  • Experience in carrying out coercive measures (tolerance procedures, possession and expropriation procedures) as well as experience in working with large strategic contracting
