This position is eligible for a sign-on#bonus Summary The 6 Medical department is located on the 6th#floor at Parkview Randallia Hospital and is made up of 20 beds.# Coworkers in this department are cross trained to work with a combination of Med Surg and other patient populations.# Applicants for this department should be comfortable working in a dynamic nursing environment to provide care to patients at all stages of life.
Responsible for assisting Registered Nurses with care and assessment all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
# Education Must be a graduate of a school of nursing. Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and unit specific orientation as provided and required. Licensure/Certification Valid Indiana Licensed Practice Nurse license. Must have current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas. For Peds department, must have PALS within 6 months.ED at Randallia and PRMC:
ACLS and PALS both required within 1 year
Randallia ED:
NVCI required within 6 months. Current co-workers have until 11/5/2020 to obtain NVCI.
Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
