Responsibilities:


The Talent Management Specialist manages the full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) for assigned positions.


Essential Functions

  • Partners with HR Business Partner and hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. (10 fills biweekly)
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., clearance process, benefits & compensation).
  • Schedules newly hired employees for Orientation and provides guidance throughout the onboarding process in order to ensure successful on boarding.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Creates applicant folder for each hired employee in our HR shared drive with all relevant documents.
  • The Recruiter will serve as an important resource in ensuring that recruitment furthers the agency's goals of hiring skilled workers who will remain dedicated to our clients and our agency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Regular and punctual time and attendance, and adherence to The Foundling's and your department's specific time and attendance policies and protocol
  • Consistent demonstrated commitment to The Foundling's BHAG, mission, vision and values (Compassion, Dignity, Family and Community, Diversity, Excellence)
  • Adherence to The Foundling's employee policies, Code of Conduct and applicable rules, laws, regulations or bargaining agreements.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 23 years of experience in the Human Resources field required.
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting required.
  • Must be a selfstarter and comfortable working independently.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work within short deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout New York City using public transportation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and other HRrelated data systems is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.

Salary Range - $68,544 - $72,344/year

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
