- The Associate will work with project teams on purchase and sale transactions, leases, and commercial financing transactions.
- Assist with assigned matters from inception through closing, including drafting and negotiating primary and ancillary documents for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, leasing, joint ventures and similar transactions.
- Review and analyze due diligence and conduct legal research.
- Correspond and communicate with clients' business and legal personnel, and coordinate with attorneys across other practice disciplines.
- At least five (5) years of commercial real estate experience.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Superior drafting skills.
- Strong analytical thinker, with a business mind.
- Excellent academic record.
- Ability to independently manage and supervise paralegals and due diligence processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients.
- Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
