    Description


    The Senior Network Engineer will have a robust understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of network engineering, including extensive experience with switching and routing, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, and various routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.

    The ideal candidate will be a problem solver at heart, capable of troubleshooting complex network environments and designing and implementing large-scale network solutions.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Design, implement, and manage WAN and LAN architecture, including both wide area and local area networks.
    • Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
    • Proficient in advanced routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
    • In-depth understanding and troubleshooting of spanning-tree and other network redundancy protocols.
    • Proficient with wireless technologies, including Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus wireless controllers and deployments.
    • Manage and resolve high-level escalations from Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC).
    • Design and implement VPN solutions for both internal and external network security.
    • Skilled in data center technologies, particularly spine and leaf architectures like Cisco ACI.
    • Develop and document network processes and configurations.
    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, focusing on routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
    • Strong command line interface (CLI) skills with Cisco, Fortinet, and Juniper equipment.
    • Proficient in designing, deploying, and managing wireless networks and controllers.
    • Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, are highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments.
