    Job Description

    Position Mission Statement

    To fulfill KFG's mission of educating, advising, and serving with character and integrity by providing timely, considerate, and professional service to insurance clients. To establish trust with clients and team members, and add valuable connections in KFG's relationship with clients.

    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Responds to client calls and emails promptly based on call time
    • Processes all claims submissions on the same business day
    • Handles time-sensitive policy changes promptly
    • Provides quotes for policy changes within a week unless urgent
    • Sends necessary paperwork to banks/lenders promptly
    • Schedules in-person client reviews well in advance of renewals
    • Ensures high book retention rate
    • Maximizes opportunities to build trust with clients and prospects
    • Performs additional duties as necessary

    Service

    • Assists clients with policy change inquiries and processes changes accurately
    • Addresses coverage-related questions and provides necessary documentation
    • Resolves billing queries efficiently
    • Conducts policy reviews to ensure no significant changes have occurred

    Retention

    • Reviews upcoming client renewals based on specific criteria
    • Communicates re-marketing results to clients and highlights carrier benefits
    • Handles policy rewrites and cancellations smoothly
    • Achieves client retention target

    Claims

    • Handles client claim inquiries effectively
    • Files and documents claims accurately
    • Facilitates communication between involved parties
    • Assists clients in maximizing claim payments
    • Offers additional support in emergency situations

    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and QuickBooks
    • Capable of educating clients on insurance coverages and solutions
    • Skilled in maintaining carrier/agency relationships
    • Committed to professional development
    • Apt at managing client premium volume
    • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
    • Strong communication, typing, math, and analytical skills
    • Well-organized and able to work independently
    • Team player with adaptability and motivation
    • Comfortable interacting with clients via various mediums
    • Financially prudent and eager to learn and grow in the industry

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Property & Casualty license required, or willingness to obtain

    Physical Requirements

    • Extended periods of desk work and computer usage
