This position works at the direction of the Registered Nurse providing patient care and general duties in the organization.

Provides direct care for the patients as assigned, answers call lights, and performs courier and transporter functions. Collects data through a variety of means including observation and through the use of instrumentation. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.

10% Obtains, places, discontinues and removes patient equipment and supplies.
Collects, records, and communicates data as per policy and procedure.

Due to the services and care provided by this institution, personnel may be requested to serve in related capacities as determined by their qualifications in a different unit, department, and campus, in an effort to not disrupt patient care and continue to provide a safe environment to our patients.

4 Year/Bachelors Degree
Failure to obtain within the extended period will result in immediate removal from position.

Minimum Years and Type of Experience:
Recent graduate of an approved nursing program.
7p-7:30a with rotation. Weekends, holidays, and on call requirements per department policy.
