ROLEWe need an experienced Informatica Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Your scope of work will be focused on architecting, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions using Informatica's state-of-the-art tools.

Apply todayRESPONSIBILITIES Use Informatica to architect, develop, and optimize data solutionsTransform complex data into actionable insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirementsTranslate business requirements into effective Informatica data integration solutionsDesign, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenterEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability throughout its lifecycle to maintain data integrityUse Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and PowerExchangeOptimize data integration processesSupport Agile methods to drive continuous improvementParticipate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetingsCollaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and troubleshoot issuesMentor team members and provide technical guidance to foster a culture of learning and growthRemain up-to-date with industry trends, Informatica advancements, and emerging technologiesKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, PowerExchange, or similar technologiesHands-on knowledge of data integration best practices, ETL processes, and data warehousing conceptsFamiliar with Agile principles for iterative and collaborative developmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional oral and written communication skillsEnthusiastic and ProactiveBACKGROUND 6+ years of progressive and relevant experienceExperience working in a Federal environment, preferably DHS ICE preferredExperience supporting ICE preferredExisting and active DHS EOD/clearance preferredEDUCATION Bachelors degree in CS, IS, or other related scientific or technical disciplineAn associate degree with an extra three or more years of relevant experience may be substituted for a BachelorsLOCATION Washington D.C.

Other Considerations. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individuals primary workstation is located in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.

Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc.

Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 100% of the time.
