Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, process improvement, and employee data management.

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in streamlining HR processes and optimizing the employee experience.

Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee data management, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and compensation administration.
Optimize and maintain HRIS system (UKG) to optimize data accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and workflows.
Conduct audits of HR processes and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Serve as a subject matter expert on HR systems and processes, providing guidance and support to HR staff and managers.

Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and compensation.
Assist in employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution.

Assist with culture, engagement, and other HR activities and processes to ensure Fishbowl maintains and powerful and positive work environment.

Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure HR compliance.
Support special projects and initiatives related to HR operations and process improvements.
Support HR Business Partner activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.

Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UKG strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives is a plus.
HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
