Forklift Operator Overview:

- $26-$30/hour
- Paid
WEEKLY
Forklift Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates forklifts to move materials, and load/unload trucks.
- Drives a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack or move equipment deemed necessary by the Foreman.
- Must be able to pass certification required to operate equipment.
- Adheres to company safety and OSHA regulations.
- Assists in receiving incoming steel, bolts, treads, and other miscellaneous material.
- Supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Maintains forklifts as needed.
- The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.
- Perform nonessential duties as needed.
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to maintain equipment.
Forklift Operator Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less, bend, stoop, lift, and carry frequently.
- Excessive amount of pushing pulling from the waist.
- Exposed to temperature fluctuations and loud noises.
- Requires a considerable amount of overtime including working weekends.
- All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
