Description
TEKsystems is looking to bring in a fulltime Director of IT Mainframe and Operations. This person will be supporting the operations and analysts teams.Team size and structure will be about 18-20 that report to this person including 3 systems programmers, a manager, 4 analysts and the rest are the operators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with mainframe performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.
Familiarity with mainframe hardware, operating systems (e.g., z/OS), and software (e.g., IBM DB2, CICS) would be great.
Understanding of mainframe operations, storage, and security principles and practices.
