  • Utilize Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Utilize National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).
  • Initiate and review security clearance packages for accuracy and completeness, conduct fingerprints in a timely manner.
  • Verify the appropriate level of background investigation being requested, and ensure all documents required for processing have been properly completed and submitted.
  • Track and maintain all Personnel Security (PERSEC) information to include clearance status, security training records, personnel information files and visit certification (VAR).
  • Implement visitor control procedures ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and company policies. Process Classified Visit Requests.
  • Provide security education briefings / debriefings in coordination with FSOs.
  • If applicable, and under direction of security management, investigate and review security violations, recommending corrective actions.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company regarding Personnel Security, protecting PII.
  • Responsible for tracking all security training across each location and work with FSOs and CPSOs to ensure all training has been completed. Review and eliminate duplicate training that is not program specific.
  • Administer and coordinate security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information regarding Personnel Security.
  • Responsible for the annual Security Fair in coordination with the Security Management Team.
  • Updated and maintaining the PERSEC and Visitor Control modules of the SIMS database.

Experiences and Background We Require

  • U. S Citizenship Required
  • 8 years security experience with high school diploma; 6 years security experience with Bachelors.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and SAP access if required
  • Experience in DoD, SCI, and SAP personnel security policies, procedures, directives, and requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of NISPOM, CFR 32, Part 117, and the aspects specific to the execution of the Industrial Security Program.
  • Proficient knowledge of identified security domains
  • Collateral, SCI & SAP.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; Attention to detail
  • Proficient to strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to effectively multitask to obtain objectives,
  • Self-Starter requiring mínimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Current Polygraph (Counterintelligence)
  • DISS and NISS completion of training courses
  • Knowledge of SCIF/SAPF construction site management
  • Completion of security training courses

Other Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility.

Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
