    About the job position:

    The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in planning and overseeing all branch activities that impact the public perception and overall image of the Credit Union. This crucial role involves extensive interaction with members and staff both in person and through various communication channels, demanding adaptability in a dynamic and goal-oriented setting.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate, supervise, and optimize the daily operations of branch staff to deliver exceptional service to members
    • Assist members in fulfilling their financial needs and goals through service and sales support
    • Lead, mentor, train, and empower the sales team to achieve performance targets
    • Provide consistent support and guidance to the sales team
    • Track sales metrics and manage incentive programs
    • Enhance the quality of financial products and services offered by the Credit Union
    • Ensure compliance with security protocols
    • Acquire a deep understanding of the Credit Union's services and lending processes
    • Manage branch facilities effectively
    • Stay updated on lending and financial trends
    • Register as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) following compliance directives
    • Collaborate with Credit Union management on additional tasks
    • Strengthen knowledge of Credit Union operations and history
    • Engage in continuous professional development through training programs

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or relevant field
    • Three to five years of managerial experience
    • One to two years in a sales role
    • Excellent organizational skills

    Preferred:

    • Prior experience in branch management or assistant management
    • Experience in teller and account services

      • Physical Demands:

      The job entails various physical activities essential for the role. Reasonable accommodations can be arranged for individuals with disabilities to carry out these tasks successfully.

      While performing job duties, the employee is usually seated, using hands for handling tasks, and engaging in verbal communication. Occasional standing and walking are required, with light lifting up to 15 pounds periodically necessary. The job may also involve close and distance vision requirements and the ability to adjust focus.
