At the present time, two vacancies exist for Summer Hearing Support Teachers within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.


This position is temporary for the duration of the 2024 summer program.

Qualifications:


  • PA Certification as Teacher of Deaf/Hearing Impaired
    required:
  • Valid PA driver's license
  • Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
  • Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To provide summer hearing support to deaf/hearing impaired preschool special education students referred to the program by districts
  • Working with early intervention & schoolage students

Schedule:


  • Anticipated dates: June 24th
  • August 1st, 202
  • Monday
  • Friday; Hours may vary
  • Parttime summer work is available
