Description
Purpose:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary commensurate with experience, medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k matching, holidays, PTO, and bonuses.
This full-time position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week at the center and is not eligible for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve center operations, donor flow, and retention goals.
- Supervise operations, implement efficiency improvement plans, and ensure compliance with federal, local, state, and company regulations.
- Support internal and external inspections, maintain financial oversight, and prioritize communication with senior management.
- Foster a positive donor experience, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with Safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies.
- Stay updated on industry practices, participate in training, contribute to Quality Council Meetings, and advise staff, donors, external vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Employee Development:
- Manage and develop direct reports, oversee recruitment, training, development, assignment, disciplinary action, and termination processes.
- Develop employee talent through regular meetings, goal checkins, and development plans.
- Ensure all employees are accurately trained in technical areas and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to meet deadlines and goals.
- Promote teamwork, communication, and handle employee relations effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three to five years' experience in a regulated environment, preferably plasma collection center experience in a supervisory role.
- Crosstrained in plasma production procedures for support as needed.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and technical skills required.
- Disciplined action and execution, ability to drive operational excellence, promote teamwork, and communicate effectively.
- Capable of engaging and working effectively with individuals of varying job levels, locations, and dispositions.
- CPR and AED certification required.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods, lift at least 25 lbs, adhere to safety protocols for handling biohazardous materials, and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking skills, and efficient time management in a fastpaced environment.
