- Assist in supervision of bathrooms, hallways, cafeteria and commons or any other area of the school building or grounds as needed or requested.
- Accompany individual students to other areas of the building or grounds.
- Inform administration of any problems encountered when interacting with students.
- Assist with student safety.
- Assist students through the cafeteria lines where needed.
- Assist in clean up of cafeteria after meal periods.
- Assume any other duties as may be assigned by administration.
- Assumes any other duties as may from time to time be delegated by the supervisor and the supervisor may make any adjustment in the scope of responsibilities as outlined above which will be in the interest of the school district.
- All actions must be in concert with the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the strategic plan of the Rockford Board of Education.
- Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
- Carries out such additional duties as required or as conditions necessitate.

X Pulling - Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. 12. X Lifting - Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and required the substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.

X Grasping - Applying pressure to an object with the fingers or palm. 15. X Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word. Those activities in which you must convey detailed or spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly. 16. X Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sounds such as when making fine adjustments on machinery. 17. X Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
- Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary Work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. 2. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide assistance in the cafeterias, playground and hallways and other grounds of the building.
