Job Summary:


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineering Technician performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Performs set-up of processing equipment.
  • Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators and maintenance personnel
  • Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
  • Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
  • Line change configuration.
  • Performs corrective maintenance.
  • Follows escalation procedures.
  • Work cross functionally with different departments.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate working in a highpressured environment.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Associate's Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in technical writing to support change control and quality/compliance activities
  • Setup, operation and maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Electro-Mechanical Knowledge, Electrical schematics, Mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.
  • Ability to understand and read various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Ability to work with complex industrial mechanical assembly's focused on secondary and final packaging.
  • Have a basic level of understanding in industry 4.0 and manufacturing automation.
  • Ability to work with coding, printing and inspection systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot network connection to equipment
