- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field (Required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferred)
- Experience with specific industries relevant to VDL's products (Highly preferred)
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a relevant role. (Required)

- Familiarity with basic and advanced quality testing machines and systems. (Required)
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments and gauges (Required)

- Familiarity with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO Highly preferred)
- Experience with data analysis tools (Preferred)

- Comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies by reading blueprints and instructions.
- Understand the technical specifications and requirements for each product.
- Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards.
- Maintain records of supplier performance.
- Ensure that incoming materials meet quality criteria.
- Select output samples from production batches.
- Use appropriate methods (such as measuring dimensions, testing functionality, and comparing to specifications) to check product quality.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects.
- Utilize automated systems for complex testing procedures.
- Monitor the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Inspect procedures at various stages of production.
- Verify that measurement and inspection equipment is safe to use, well-maintained, and meets requirements.
- Maintain records of testing results and other relevant information.

Job DescriptionSalary:About US: VDL Industries Gainesville LLC is company number 99 in the VDL Groep and the first manufacturing facility in the U.S. Operations are from a state-of-the-art, 150,000 square foot facility located in Flowery Branch, GA. The VDL Industries facility consists of the following work centers: laser cutting, metal forming, welding (MIG/TIG), electronic assembly/general assembly, sawing, drilling, shipping, storage opportunities, and Quality Control. VDL Industries utilizes a dedicated area for stainless steel welding and assembly operations.
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes at VDL Industries Gainesville, in accordance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. They perform inspections, conduct tests, document findings, and collaborate with team members to identify and resolve quality issues.
