We are a small production machine shop. We are looking to fill a position for an assembler and deburring employee, as well as normal shop maintenance.


Duties:


Important - Sit at a desk and use epoxy to expertly install a magnet into metal parts, using the exact right amount of epoxy and keeping dust and other debris away. Training will be provided, and there will be a short test period of making samples for approval before moving on to production.

  • Use specialized tooling and equipment to assemble parts with multiple components.
  • Use specialized tooling and equipment to remove sharp edges from machined parts. Material varying from steel, stainless, aluminum, and plastic.
  • Operate bandsaw to cut material to size for machining operations.
  • Clean metal / plastic out of machines after operations.
  • Mix coolant and fill machines when necessary.
  • Count parts and package for shipment.
  • Keep shop clean and organized.

Qualifications:


Some experience in related fields is preferred, but not necessary.

  • Deburring experience in machine shop or other areas of manufacturing.
  • Assembly experience of any kind.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to sit and/or stand in one place for long periods of time.
  • Mechanically inclined.
