    As a Senior Analyst of Strategic Initiatives, Wealth Technology, you will play a valuable role serving as an operational contact and acting as a bridge between the different organizations within Empower. You'll bring a strong background in software development and information technology with a proven track record of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    What you will do:

    • Consolidate our software applications, ensuring the efficient transfer of data and integration of new users onto modernized platforms
    • Oversee, maintain and provide support for various software applications utilized throughout the technology and business sectors
    • Facilitate engineering enablement by setting up and delivering training on proprietary software tools and applications
    • Forge cross-functional collaborations to equip associates with essential hardware and software for development and deployment
    • Assess, design, and document system infrastructures and software architectures, detailing system integration, authentication processes, and delivery mechanisms
    • Evaluate and document the security policies, protocols, and capabilities of software vendors and tools
    • Document data management practices, including encryption, third-party access, and redundancy strategies
    • Complete application assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements, leading to the design and documentation of functional and non-functional solutions
    • Identify, analyze and resolve hardware, software, access, reliability and environment issues

    What you will bring:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in software development and analysis
    • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including tools, methodologies, programming languages, agile practices, and systems integration
    • Understanding of encryption, security protocols, and authentication methods, including role-based access
    • Proficient in coordinating software application consolidation, adept at data migration, and skilled in integrating new users into updated system environments
    • Proficient in resolving a wide range of operational challenges, encompassing both functional issues with enterprise applications and access barriers to software tools
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficient in addressing complex technical issues
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

    What will set you apart:

    • Industry background in Retirement, Finance, or Insurance
    • Master's degree from an accredited institution
    • ITIL Certification and/or Scrum Master Certification
    • Experience with software development tools (i.e. Jira, Gitlab, IntelliJ)
    • Comprehensive knowledge of internal IT infrastructure and systems

    Base Salary Range

    $84, $118,575.00

    The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
