What to expect:

Professional and future disciplinary leadership of the finance department particularly in the area of preparatory accounts receivable and accounts payable
Independent creation and booking of outgoing invoices (accounts receivable)
Examination and preaccounting of incoming invoices (accounts payable)
Reminder and debt management
Preparation of monthly financial statements and assistance in the preparation of annual financial statements
Control of external accounting and tax consulting firms, as well as supervision of external (annual financial statement) audits
Processing of all payment transactions
Organization and further development of internal workflows

What you bring:

At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
Business administration degree or comparable vocational training in the field of accounting or financial accounting
Good knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Datev and/or Scopevisio)
First experience in accounting according to IFRS desirable
Good MS Office skills especially Excel
Confident and sociable interaction with customers and colleagues
Organizational talent and willingness to think outside the box
Ability to identify problems in processes and independently develop solutions
