Work Schedule:


1st Position - Morning Shift: Monday - Thursday: 10 am - 2 pm & Friday: 10:30 am - 2 pm.

2nd Position - Evening Shift: Monday - Wednesday: 2 pm - 7 pm & Thursday 2:30 - 7 pm.

Job Summary:

Provides coverage for the Information Counter in the Student Center Pavilion. Provides customer service to a diverse population of students, administrators, staff, faculty and the public.

Provides event support including but not limited to the creation and placement of advertisements, event set up and tear down.

Keeping inventory of Student Life supplies.

Light cleaning of the Student Life areas, perform basic clerical functions in gathering and distributing information about Student Life programs and activities.


Essential Functions:


  • 60% Provides coverage for the Information Counter in the Student Pavilion; provides customer service to a diverse population of students, administrators, staff, faculty and the public; 20% Provides event support including, but not limited to keeping an inventory of Student Life supplies; set conference rooms for nextday schedule; 20% Light cleaning of the Student Life areas; performs basic clerical functions in gathering and distributing information about Student Life programs, services, and activities; Other tasks as assigned

Desired Qualifications:


Knowledge of:
standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.

Preferred technical skills:
Google suite, Office suite and CGCC platforms (including Coyote Connect; Give Pulse).

Ability to:

learn and communicate general information regarding activities of assigned area; follow written and oral instructions; maintain ongoing awareness of department policies, procedures, and activities; learn to operate computer equipment used in assigned office; perform effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions; work according to schedule; establish cooperative working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties.


Special Working Conditions:


Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; work outside in extreme weather conditions; drive utility cart and possession of a valid drivers license for the state of Arizona.
