This position offers FREE parking, and is located near Folsom Lake and Historic Downtown Folsom, close to walking trails, shopping and eateries. This position is not eligible for telework and hours (8:00am - 5:00pm) are firm. This position is not located inside of a prison.

Note:
This position is pending budget approval.

Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, Contracts & Procurement Unit Manager in the Business Services Section (BSS), the Management Services Technician serves as a back-up receptionist to BSS and performs the less technical, semi-professional work associated with the review of procurement requests and documentation, modifications to existing procurements, the collection and dissemination of procurement policy, procedure, and protocol to
CALPIA staff agency wide; identification of procurement issues and infractions; data reconciliation and retention; creation of Purchase Orders; and ensuring procurement compliance.
