    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Job Summary:
    The Division of Enrollment Management(DEM) is seeking an Associate Director for Strategic EnrollmentManagement (SEM) Data & Storytelling.

    This unique, new role will assistin linking the rich data available to the DEM with the inherent need touncover stories critical to UW-Madison\'s success in the enrollmentrealm.

    The Associate Director for SEM Data & Storytelling will lead thedivisional data storytelling and communication efforts as well as serveas an expert on predictive analytics and machine learning.

    This positionwill report to the Deputy Director for Strategic Engagement and is atwo-year project appointment with the possibility to be extended orconverted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.

    Responsibilities:
    Investigates, researches, gathers,analyzes, and summarizes institutional data in support of informationand research needs for planning and policy-making decisions.

    Providesmanagement information, data analyses, and policy reports to informstrategic planning, decision-making, and resource allocation at theschool, college, or divisional level.

    Provides advice to, andperformance management support for a school, college, or division\'sleadership. 20% Provides analysis and consultation on a variety ofadministrative-related matters.

    Applies subject matter knowledge tosupport decisions and policymaking through research and fact-findingcombined with an understanding of applicable business systems 20%Designs, collects, analyzes, and researches data according toestablished procedures and regulations 20% Prepares and disseminatesstatistical reports to institutional programs, working units, andleadership 10% Serves as liaison and contact to school, college, ordivisional stakeholders reporting and compliance, external surveys, andstatistics and data 10% Participates in establishing guidelines andprocedures to ensure adequacy, quality, and reliability of informationsources to ensure information systems and databases manage, store, andretrieve data according to established policies, procedures, andreporting..
