We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to sell shellfish at the San Francisco Alemany Farmers Market on Saturdays.

The right individual must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Have a great attitude. This means being friendly, attentive, and patient with customers as well as being respectful of other team members. An even temperament, even when under stress is essential.
• Willingness to learn about products being served
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customers at once.
• Highly organized, selfstarter, working on your own.
• Be focused and reliable, show up to work on time (every time) ready to work.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Host and educate new and existing guests on our story and the shellfish and retail products we carry.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the brand, products, and our company's mission.
• Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions.
• Perform daytoday operations and opening/closing duties.
• Maintain highest standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety
• Ensure neat and wellorganized service areas
• Safely drive to and from the market

Preferred experience:

• Retail or Farmers Market experience
• Large vehicle driving able to drive a van or box truck

Physical demands:

• Capable of carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and move items frequently
• Ability to kneel, climb, and stoop to organize inventory and set up stall.

This is position is every Saturday 7am to 4pm; year-round, rain or shine. Leaving from our facility west of Petaluma, driving to Vallejo and returning to Petaluma.
