***: Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer, assists all departments with all preparatory activities to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. This position works in conjunction with department heads to develop policies and procedures to maintain mission-driven, quality focused patient care. Additionally, this position may serve as an advisor to the executive management team (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO), providing situational insight into operations, staff relations, and organizational governance.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Coordinate preparatory activities for all departments as it relates to accreditation.
  • Maintains and updates policy Master Index and policy crosswalk, assisting in mapping FRTH policies to accreditation standards.
  • Works in conjunction with the QI Coordinator to train and educate staff on accreditation standards and required activities.
  • Identifies areas needed for policy development and/or improvement, including but not limited to Emergency Operations Plan, Injury Illness Prevention Plan, and departmental policies.
  • Develops and documents policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates Organizational charts throughout the agency.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist the CEO and COO in the leadership transition, including but not limited to licensure, business operations, credentialing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provides guidance and insight into organizational operations, governance, personnel, and regulatory issues.
  • Attending meetings as directed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or GED. Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and/or scripting.
  • Knowledge of medical records systems, software and hardware is essential.
  • Experience with quality improvement activities and programs.
  • Possession of a valid California driver?s license and current car insurance sufficient to be insurable.
