This exempt position will report to the Senior Manager, Accreditation and Verification Program Development in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care.


It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.


Responsibilities:


  • Provides general administrative support to staff and committees. Supports programmatic development of the multiple verification programs including the development of policies and procedures for effective administration of the program. Acts as a liaison between program leadership, committees, and surgeon reviewers to relay any changes in policy, program standards, or verification practices.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.

At least 2+ years' experience in a similar professional role is preferred.
Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, along with an understanding of clinical terminology, is strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to multi-task and organize priorities to meet competing deadlines.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Aptify experience a plus.
